• Understanding IRATA membership requirements and RASS-specific responsibilities.
• Applying the IRATA ICOP, TACS, and RASS-TACS in day-to-day operations.
• Creating and delivering Risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks, inductions and pre work briefings.
• Leadership and communication as a Rope Access Safety Supervisor.

How does an IRATA RASS differ from a Level 3 technician?

An IRATA Rope Access Safety Supervisor (RASS) is a Level 3 technician who has successfully completed IRATA RASS training and assessment, gaining the advanced skills and theoretical knowledge required to perform effectively in a safety supervisory role

Who delivers RASS training?

A RASS training is hosted at an IRATA RTP training location and is delivered by an IRATA approved RASS Instructor

The training is delivered over a minimum of 2 days (14 hours) and is purely theory-based, as your practical competency is already demonstrated by your valid IRATA Level 3 certification.
